Jade :)
I was wrapping gifts last night and I had several in the same size box. Unfortunately, it was leaving me with scraps of wrapping paper that I was not sure were big enough to use. I didn't want to toss perfectly good paper, so I decided to get creative and use two different papers on the same package.
I thought it came out really cute, so cute I plan to wrap some more in the same manner, just because I like it!
It is always better not to waste things, so if you can use all your wrapping paper, that is less you will have to buy. Not to mention that people will see your frugality as imagination and craft talent!
Have fun when preparing for Christmas!

Very clever idea. I've always wondered about the best ways to use those scraps of wrapping paper.

This is very clever! I think it came out great. It just looks creative. Nobody would know that the wrapping paper simply wasn't big enough :)

We also try to use all the paper. I tend to be too frugal at times, but don't like throwing away money.

If you're careful with the thin paper, you can cut the paper into long strips and curl them with scissors like you do with curling ribbon. It looks nice.

What a good idea! It's a shame to waste them. I usually end up including them in the bag of creative rubbish that I save for the local nursery school who are always glad to see clean junk that their tinies can play with.
