- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 cup of cream (heavy or light, your choice)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
others. I would like to share three of my favorite flavorings with you.
2 cups of plain coffee cream
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon allspice
1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 tablespoons brown sugar
pinch of cloves (optional)
This is how I like it, you may need to adjust it to your taste. My husband has to substitute the Stevia for the brown sugar, since he is diabetic.
2 cups plain coffee cream
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 tablespoons honey
If you like apples, you can add 1/2 teaspoon of apple extract and you will have apple cinnamon coffee cream.
2 cups of plain coffee cream
3 tablespoons cocoa powder
3 tablespoons of brown sugar
This coffee cream is absolutely delicious, but if you want a little extra lusciousness, add one teaspoon of almond extract. This gives a nutty flair to your already decadent cuppa!
If You Prefer Powdered Cream
My Recipe for Powdered Coffee Cream Most homemade powdered coffee cream recipes are made of dry milk, powdered sugar and coconut oil. I tried that and I did not like the consistency or the taste. After much experimenting, I came up with this recipe. It's a bit unusual, but I love the taste. It can also be flavored like the liquid creamer with the same ingredients. |
1 cup organic instant dry milk
1/2 cup sugar (I use fine ground coconut palm, but any kind will work)
1/3 cup store bought instant sugar free vanilla pudding mix (can use any flavor)
The pudding gives it a creaminess that other recipes lack. I actually think that it is better than creamer you buy at the store.
