Learn to Make Worcestershire Sauce AND
How to Pronounce It!
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/8 cup molasses
- 1/8 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 clove garlic or 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves (can substitute cinnamon)
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon salt (I prefer sea salt)
- Juice from half a lime
Directions:
In a small saucepan, mix ingredients together, over medium heat
Bring to a boil, and then lower the heat and simmer for 10 minutes
Let cool and pour into a blender
Blend until smooth (you may need to strain it if you want liquid only)
Store in a dressing bottle or mason jar
Makes 1 cup, will stay good in the refrigerator for at least a month
If you want it to be more salty, add more soy sauce; more sweet, add more honey. If you like more spice, add extra chili powder or even pepper flakes and if you want it more tart, add more lime juice. You can adjust the flavor to whatever you prefer.
Have a great week!
