Then, the day before Christmas Eve I feel a tiny scratch in my throat. It got progressively worse as the day went on. By Christmas Eve it had turned into a full blown miserable cold. Stuffed up nose, sore throat, achy and spacey feeling head, and dead tired.
Merry Christmas :(
After loading up on cold medicine, I made it through Christmas Eve with the family in kind of removed misery. By Christmas Day I was in, what I always call, "the worst day" meaning the rock bottom most horrible day of a cold before it starts to get better. I was so sick I could not move off the couch all day. I missed Christmas dinner at my niece's.......no ham or cheesy potatoes for me!!! I spent the day in a cold induced fog, under two blankets.
I feel like I was robbed of Christmas!!! After all my preparation and plans, I missed the good part.....the fun part. Woe is me......lol ! It just goes to show you, the best laid plans of mice and woman oft go astray! Oh well, there is always next year.
Finally after 4 days of suffering, I am finally on the mend. Hope you all had a great Christmas!
Jade :)
