I highly recommend Gingher scissors for sewing. There is nothing more frustrating than dull scissors, and trying to cut fabric with them.....forget it! Gingher scissors are expensive, but they are so worth it. They cut through fabric like butter, and leave a sharp, clean cut.
Very Important: NEVER, NEVER, NEVER cut anything other than fabric with your Gingher scissors. If they cut anything else, especially paper, it will dull them and their performance will be greatly reduced.
