If you need to whip up a quick, delicious dessert, this fall, this pie is just what you need. You can save yourself some work by using ready made graham cracker crust, or you can make your own. Either way, you can make this pie in just a few minutes and it is a delicious taste of autumn.
I've included a simple recipe for a graham cracker crust, if you want to make your own.
3/4 cup of milk
1 package of instant vanilla pudding mix
1/2 cup canned pumpkin
3/4 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice
2 cups of frozen whipped topping, thawed
Directions:
Whisk milk and pudding mix until smooth.
Let stand for two minutes
Add pumpkin and pumpkin pie spice and stir until smooth
Gently fold in whipped topping until thoroughly mixed
Spoon into a graham cracker crust, cover with foil and chill
Graham Cracker Pie Crust
Ingredients:
18 to 20 squares of graham crackers
1/4 cup of sugar
1/3 cup of melted butter
Directions:
Put graham crackers in a zipper bag
Roll over the bag with a rolling pin, to crush
Pour crumbs in a bowl
Add sugar and stir to mix
Add melter butter and stir
When thoroughly moistened, pour into an ungreased pie pan
Press out evenly across the bottom and up the sides
