And Keep Them Rust Free for Two Years! My husband has been a mechanic all his life. That being said, I probably don't have to tell you how many hand tools he has. To make matters worse, he not only has tools to repair cars which he used to do, but he also has a full set of tools to work on semi truck engines and giant machinery, like cranes and excavators. Needless to say, the man knows tools.

And Save Money! Don't flush your money down the drain, or add more harsh chemicals to the ecosystem. More important, don't keep a potentially harmful substance around your house that could be poisonous to children or pets. Make your own drain cleaner from common household ingredients.
Quick and Easy!
Brown sugar is really easy to make. No need to panic if you are making something and find that you have none, just make a small batch and you are good to go!
That's all there is to it!
Have a great Sunday, Jade :) Butter is relatively easy to make, if you have a stand mixer. I decided to make my own when I took a look at the amount of additives and preservatives in so called "real" butter in the grocery stores.
Homemade butter is not yellow. Since it is made of cream, it is white, just like cream. If you really want it to be yellow, add a few drops of yellow food coloring before you turn on the mixer. Making butter is a messy business, so make sure that you have an old bath towel and wear a full coverage apron, or clothes you don't mind getting greasy. It takes about 30 minutes of beating, and you will need a paddle attachment for your mixer for the best results. I hate to admit it, but this is my underwear drawer. I've never been an underwear folder, I'm more of a 'toss it in the drawer and let it fall where it may' type person. The only way that I have been able to make it all these years is by keeping a tight reign on the volume of underwear I have. I also only put panties and bras in the underwear drawer. A quick way to lose control of your underwear drawer is trying to put socks, pantyhose, camis, or slips in there as well. Keep it to the basics!
I love to have fresh green onions to cook with. That's why I decided to start some windowsill onions. They grow in a jiffy and are always on hand to snip and add to your soups, salads, vegetables, just about any savory dish you can make.
They are so simple to start, anyone can do it I wrote this page and wanted to share it, since this weed killer is safe and effective. It is also very simple to make, only three ingredients. Check it out! Jade :) I really hate static electricity and static cling in my fabrics. I also hated having to continually pay for dryer sheets that you use once and throw away. Well, I didn't throw mine away, I came up with a few pretty ingenious things to do with them, my favorite being cutting them into strips and using them to tie up my plants.
Garden Tools are an investment, but like any investment, you have to take care of them if you want to keep them in good shape. Since most garden tools do not have any moving parts, they will last close to forever, if take the time to do simple maintenance on them once in a while. |
