Homemade French Onion Dip Recipe

I love French Onion Dip and this dip mix is fantastic, far superior to what you buy in the store. It can be made in advance and stored in a jar for up to 6 months. It's also a great "jar gift" to give someone for the holidays or a housewarming gift. Just put the mix in a jar, tie a small card to it with the directions and you are good to go!

Ingredients:

• 3/4 cup dried minced onion
• 1/2 cup beef bouillon powder
• 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
• 4 teaspoons onion powder;
• 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
• 1/4 teaspoon crushed celery seed (not absolutely necessary but better with)
• 1/4 teaspoon sugar

Makes a great jar gift
for the holidays

Directions

Mix a 16 ounce container of sour cream with one table spoon mayonnaise and 3 tablespoons of dip mix. (more or less mix, to taste)
Refrigerate at least two hours before serving
