Ingredients:
- 1 cup of water
- 1 cup of vinegar
- pinch of salt
- 5 drops of dishwashing soap
- 1/2 teaspoon of crushed hot red pepper flakes
Mix all ingredients and stir gently until thoroughly blended and pour into a spray bottle. Spray on plants and on the underside of leaves.
Keep mixture away from eyes and open cuts, the pepper flakes can sting. If you don't like the smell, add some orange or lemon peels (remove all pith) to the mixture. Don't forget to wash all vegetables completely before eating, if they have been sprayed with this mixture.
I use this spray every year. It gets rid of all of the normal pests that I find in my garden and it is something that you can make up whenever you need it because all the ingredients are things you always have on hand!
Have a great week!
Jade :)
