I love French Onion Dip and this dip mix is fantastic, far superior to what you buy in the store. It can be made in advance and stored in a jar for up to 6 months. It's also a great "jar gift" to give someone for the holidays or a housewarming gift. Just put the mix in a jar, tie a small card to it with the directions and you are good to go! |

Wrapping gifts for Christmas can be kind of tedious, if you have a lot to wrap. I decided to see if there were any more fun ways to wrap, something original and creative but not too hard. I found three that I thought were especially unique and pretty easy to do, and I wanted to share them.
Deliciously Perfect for Christmas Cookie Cutting Christmas cookies is somewhat of a tradition in my family. My sister is the master cookie maker and makes half a dozen or more different kinds every year. Me, I prefer to keep it simple. I love butter cookies, they are so light and fluffy! They can be made soft, or crisp and they are delicious either way. If you have kids, they are always fun to make cookie cutter shapes and decorate. If you are just in it for the cookies, then I like to flavor my butter cookies. Down below my family cookie recipe are some flavoring recipes that I have tried over the years that I thought were especially decadent. I even added my own lemon glaze recipe that goes with my lemon butter cookie recipe, though truthfully, it is delicious on all types of butter cookies!
