 I was really looking forward to Christmas this year. I had made and purchased some nice gifts for my family and my husband and decided to try out a new trifle recipe on Christmas Eve. I worked hard getting everything ready for that special evening.

Breakfast casserole on Christmas morning has been a tradition in our household for a long time. We got it from my sister, who made it for her family long before I ever got married. It is really delicious, why wouldn't it be? Made from eggs, cheese, sausage......could anything made from these ingredients not be yummy? Of course not! The best thing about this casserole, is that it has to be made the day before! This virtually guarantees a Christmas morning that is cooking free, what could be better!
