Ingredients:
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon of chicken seasoning (can use beef, or any kind of seasoning you like)
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- salt to taste
- pinch of black pepper
Directions:
Place the chicken broth and half the milk in a saucepan and bring to a soft boil.
Place the rest of the milk and all the other ingredients in a bowl and whisk until well mixed
Slowly add the cold mixture to the hot, stirring continuously until you get a smooth creamy sauce.
Remember, if you are putting uncooked rice, or noodles into your casserole, you will still need to add the water for them to absorb, as well as the cream sauce. This sauce can also be used to make chicken stew, or a one skillet meal. I have even used this sauce as chicken gravy, in a pinch. I hope you enjoy it!
