- 1 1/2 cups of all purpose flour
- 3 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon white sugar
- 1 1/4 cup of milk
- 1 egg
- 3 tablespoons melted butter
In a large bowl, mixed together the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.
Make a well in the center and pour in the milk, egg and melted butter.
Mix until completely smooth
Heat a lightly oiled frying pan or griddle over medium to high heat.
Pour or scoop the batter into the pan and brown on both sides.
Great things to put on pancakes:
- peanut butter
- honey butter
- jelly or jam
- chocolate syrup
- ice cream and fudge
- chocolate chips
- caramel sauce
